Every year about this time a former co- worker contacts me about her daughter's cake. I was just thinking about her last week and she emailed me today asking if I had time to make her daughter's cake. OF COURSE I HAVE TIME!!! You see her daughter is VERY into theater and the big box bakerys like to use icing roses and plastic decorations. Which is fine for some people, but NOT this girl. She challenges me every year. Every year I look forward to her 'cake theme'. Here are some of her birthday cakes from previous years.....
The Nightmare Before Christmas....
I don't remember the name of the show this one is for, it was something on the Sci-Fi channel....
Phantom of the Opera....
What's her theme this year you ask? Twilight, of course. Her Birthday isn't until December 20, so I will have to post a final picture then. This is what she wants this year...
I'm pretty excited to do this design!!

Wow...what talent! I found your blog on SITS. My son want's a Dora cake for his birthday and I have no artistic talent....looks like Publix Bakery for me!
Wow, those cakes are amazing, you are very talented. Your picture of M2 is so stinkin' cute!! Thanks for stopping by my blog, keep in touch! Let us know how the Twilight cake turns out!
Those cakes are amazing....sounds like this girl Paige and my daughter would get along great! Have fun making the Twilight one. Can'te wait to see it!
Those cakes look amazing! That takes some major talent. Please, don't look at the gingerbread house that we attempted to decorate! I have such respect for people who can decorate cakes like that. It is sooo much more difficult than I had ever imagined.
